Biography:

The Pig in Minecraft is a passive animal mob that exists solely to provide resources and, more famously, transportation. First appearing in the initial alpha version of Minecraft, they are found in grassy biomes.

A Pig with a Saddle becomes rideable. Players must first find a saddle, as saddles cannot be crafted. Once a saddle is placed on a Pig, the player can mount it. However, controlling the Pig requires the use of a Carrot on a Stick, effectively luring the pig in the desired direction.

While riding, the player can also make the Pig jump. Pigs with Saddles are often used for novelty transportation or for navigating relatively short distances within the game world.
